Black Stars gaffer Otto Addo has announced his 24-man squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Central African Republic and Comoros.
The Black Stars have had a very impressive run so far in the qualifiers with six wins from eight matches so far and need just four points from the remaining two goals to punch their ticket to the next World Cup.
Otto Addo ensured he invited majority of the players that have been playing in the last few years but included two debutants in OGC Nice’s Kojo Peprah Oppong and Medeama SC’s Prince Owusu as the only two home-based players in the squad.
French-based defender Alidu Seidu after a long injury has returned into the squad alongside Abdul Fatawu Issahaku while Kwasi Sibo is maintained.
The Black Stars due to limited time for preparations as the first game is slated for next week, will open camp in Morocco, Meknes precisely to prepare for Central African Republic game which is slated for October 8.
The four-time African champions will now return home to prepare for the one final game against Comoros, also on October 12, at the Ohene Gyan Stadium in Accra.
