While a lot of young players are more than happy to sit on the bench of a big club, that isn’t the case for everyone.
Loan moves allow players to get the valuable experience of first-team football without cutting ties with the club that they dream of playing for.
Kickgh.com attempts to pick out four players that should try to push through a brief move away from Accra Hearts of Oak.
Enoch Asubonteng
Nobody understands why Asubonteng has failed to get any playing time considering his enormous potentials.
The former WAFA man looks pretty rusty and he looks as though he’s still trying to gain match fitness. His attacking forays has been average and he looks a shadow of the player he was before joining the Accra club.
A loan spell would do him a world of good. Asubonteng still has a lot of potential but he needs to be starting every match and not just be a reserve player.
Rashid Okine
The youngster has struggled to win over the hearts of the Hearts faithful with his inconsistent performances. Okine has looked shaky whenever he's played and has a tendency to give the ball away in dangerous areas. With the prospect of regular first-team football unlikely between now and the end of the season, it could be in Okine’s benefit to go out on loan.
Zakari Yakubu
The young defender was highly-rated when he was snapped up by the Phobians at the beginning of the season, but has failed to truly push on. With the quality available at the club's centre-back department, a loan to a lower-tier side would certainly be of immense blessing to the player and the club.
Benjamin Nana Yeboah
The youngster is currently number three in the pecking order at Hearts, with Eric Ofori Antwi and Richard Attah ahead of him. He has fluffed his lines on the few occasions he was put in post. There’s no real way to say whether Yeboah could be of the standard required right now because he has yet to show what he can do.
Another temporary move away would be ideal, but he has a lot of work to do to impress enough to feature going forward.
