The General Manager of the Black Stars, Ameenu Shardow has expressed his approval of the expertise of head coach Otto Addo.
According to Shardow, he believes the former Borussia Dortmund talent coach remains the ideal person for the head coach role.
Few months back, Addo was placed on the criticism slashing board after recording a series of results that were below expectations.
But Addo put in the work in ensuring the Black Stars bounced back to reanimate their 2026 World Cup qualifying campaign - securing successive wins over Chad and Madagascar.
The win against Chad and Madagascar helped Ghana to extend their lead at the top of Group I to 15 points, three above second-placed Comoros.
“I'm absolutely convinced Otto is the right person. He got a lot of things wrong. He is the first to admit that,” Shardow stated in an interview aired on Asempa FM.
“If you put a camera before him, he will willingly tell you he got a lot of things wrong."
The Black Stars will slit-it-out with Chad and Mali in September, 2025 before wrapping up the World Cup qualifiers against the Central African Republic and Comoros as they intend to annex a spot in the mundial.
