Ampem Darkoa Ladies FC have received a whooping financial support of $20,000 from the Ghana Football Association (GFA) heading into their African campaign which commences today, August 20
The 'Nana Mma' lads after winning the Ghana Women's Premier League for the second straight time will have another opportunity to partake in the continent's most elite women club competition but will have to start from the zonal championship.
The team is currently in Nigeria for the WAFU Zone B qualifiers and will hope to secure qualification to the CAF Women's Champions League this time, having missed out on the last edition.
The Ghana FA presented this huge cash to the club to cater for some of their pressing needs and in general finance their continental campaign.
Ampem Darkoa Ladies will kickoff the zonals today, Sunday, August 20, 2023 against Togolese champions Amis du Monde and will hope for nothing but a victory in their opening game to enhance their qualification chances
