The Dawu-based side for the first time ever, featured in a CAF club competition after securing a vital one all draw against Guinean club Milo FC de Kankan in the first leg of the first qualifying round last Saturday afternoon.
The team is expected back in Ghana by the close of today as they hope for a better performance in the return encounter to emerge as winners of the tie and subsequently cruise into the next round.
The Ghana FA presented this huge cash to the team to cater for some of their pressing needs and in general finance their Africa campaign.
The second leg is slated for Sunday, August, 27, 2023 at the Ohene Gyan Stadium.
