Former Ghana international Samuel Inkoom has expressed confidence in Antoine Semenyo, stating that the Black Stars could reach the 2026 FIFA World Cup final if the forward maintains his current level of performance.
Speaking to Connect FM, Inkoom described Semenyo’s form as a driving force for Ghana’s attack. He emphasized that the Manchester City forward’s consistency will be critical for the team to progress deep into the tournament.
"If Semenyo stays consistent, Ghana can make it to the finals of the 2026 World Cup," Inkoom said.
Semenyo, a standout performer in club football this season, has also voiced confidence in Ghana’s ability to compete with top international sides at the Mundial.
Ghana, preparing for their fifth World Cup appearance, will be drawn in Group L alongside Panama, England, and Croatia, aiming to improve on previous campaigns and make history at the 2026 tournament.
