The Black Stars toddled to an emphatic 3-0 win against Madagascar at the Cape Coast stadium in the 2023 Nations Cup qualifier on Wednesday night.
Kudus Mohammed gave the Black Stars the lead in the 53rd minute after Felix Afena-Gyan had set him up with a cut back cross which he tapped into the post to send Ghana into the lead.
The four times African champions had to wait until the 56th minute to score their second through AS Roma youngstar Felix Afena Gyan who murderously blasted the ball into the net of the Barea.
Semenyo was introduced to take the place of Felix Afena-Gyan in the 76th minute as he appeared strong on the ball and contributed to the team's third goal of the game.
France-based Osman Bukari made an instant mark after coming off the bench to score the third goal after expertly cushioning a pass from Antoine Semenyo, as he went past the goalkeeper and slotted home to secure Ghana all three points.
The win is coach Otto Addo's first victory as head coach of the Black Stars and will now shift his attention to the second group game against the Central African Republic in Angola on June 5.
