Veteran Football Coach, Joseph Emmanuel Sarpong has urged the Ghana Football Association(GFA) to appoint a top coach who can't be influenced as the new head coach of the Black Stars.
Ghana was shown the exit from the group stage of the 2022 World Cup.
Ghana lost to Portugal and Uruguay but won against South Korea.
Head coach, Otto Addo subsequently stepped-down from the job.
Former Chelsea coach Thomas Tuchel, Chris Hughton, George Boateng have all been reportedly shortlisted for the vacant job.
Former Ebusua Dwarfs gaffer, JE Sarpong says the GFA must appoint a competent coach to avoid being influenced in his selections.
"He should be a world-class coach who should do everything to avoid being influenced in selecting players who are in top shape and fit his strategy and game plan.
"He should also be a coach who knows his job and will avoid any external influence,“ he stressed.
