In a move to enhance their team’s performance for the upcoming season, Asante Kotoko is gearing up for a pre-season tour to South Africa starting on August 15.
The initiative, fully sponsored by the club’s life patron, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, aims to provide the players with a new training environment and bonding experience to prepare for the challenges of the 2024/25 season.
The tour will include friendly matches against local South African clubs, offering the team valuable exposure and experience. This comes after Asante Kotoko’s recent victory in the Democracy Cup, where they triumphed over Accra Hearts of Oak to claim their first trophy.
With several new signings and a revamped squad, the Porcupine Warriors are focused on a successful campaign and view the South African tour as a crucial part of their preparation.
