Accra Hearts of Oak board member Dr. Nyaho Nyaho-Tamakloe is optimistic that the club's head coach Aboubakar Ouattara can turn the team's fortunes around in the upcoming 2024/25 season.

The veteran football administrator believes that the Ivorian trainer is competent to recruit the best players that he can coach to do what he wants in the new season.

Despite the team's struggles last season, including a dramatic 3-2 comeback win over Bechem United on the final day of the Ghana Premier League to avoid relegation, Nyaho-Tamakloe is confident that Ouattara can lead the team to success.

The club faced setbacks, including a 2-1 defeat to Asante Kotoko in the inaugural Democracy Cup at the Accra Sports Stadium, which marked their third consecutive defeat against their arch-rivals.

Speaking about the club's fortunes last season, Nyaho-Tamakloe told Joy Sports, "We have a problem at the moment, but that problem will come to an end before the start of the league 2024-2025. And my reason is quite simple. You know, we have a coach we think can be stable and then be able to pick the best of boys that we need, have good control over them and give them the training that they require."
