Ghanaian giants Asante Kotoko have called for change of venue in their ‘Champion of Champions’ clash against Bibiani GoldStars or will boycott the game which is slated for this weekend, per reports.

The ‘Champion of Champions’ is the Ghana version of Super Cup —where league and FA winners from the previous season get to meet each other for the bragging rights and also pave way for the new season.

The game has long been slated to be held at the Dun’s Park — which happens to be the home grounds of Kotoko’s opponents and current champions Bibiani GoldStars.

With this, the Porcupine Warriors believe the home advantage could count hence want the venue for the game changed by the GFA - an agenda they will be pushing so much for it to happen or will have no option than to boycott the game

Asante Kotoko haven’t officially commented on the said issue yet as it is only speculations for now and trust your best sports-hub Kickgh.com to bring you any new update regarding this issue.

The game however, is scheduled for Sunday August 31, 2025.
