The reigning Ghana Premier League champions have announced that their planned pre-season trip to the European nation has been cancelled.
Management of Asante Kotoko on Sunday confirmed that the club will not be making a trip to Turkey due to issues related to delays in visa acquisition.
The Porcupine Warriors were billed to travel to Turkey for a two weeks to continue their pre-season campaign ahead of the start of the 2022/23 season.
However, the club has announced that they will be leaving the shores of Ghana on Sunday evening to continue their pre-season exercise in Sudan.
Asante Kotoko will engage Sudanese giants Al Hilal and other clubs in pre-season scrimmages before they return to Ghana on September 1
