The Ghana Football Association (GFA) have moved the Super Cup from Sunday, 4th September to Monday 5th September, 2022 because of the CHAN qualifiers.

The GFA said the changes is due to the CHAN final qualifying play-offs with Nigeria on Sunday, 28th August and the Saturday, 3rd September.

 
Players of both Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak are with the Black Galaxies for the crucial encounter.
 
Asante Kotoko won the Ghana Premier League (GPL) in the just ended season after eight years league title drought.
 
Meanwhile, Hearts of Oak defended the MTN FA Cup crown last season after defeating Bechem United by 2-1 in Kumasi.
 
Arch-rivals, Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak are billed to lock horns at the Baba Yara stadium in the Champion of Champions before the GPL starts on 9th September.
