Benab FC saw their three points gap reduced to one after a costly 2-2 draw against Young Chelsea on Sunday in the Movie House Division Two League.

The leaders were 2-0 up and cruising towards restoring their three-points cushion over Namoro Academy with Taylor tapping home in the 28th minute and Prince doubling the lead just after the break.

But everything changed when they conceded a goal just after doubling their lead.

Taylor had the chance to restore Benab's two-goal lead early in the second half only to blaze a huge chance away.

Prince also had the chance to score his second but blasted his header wide.

The numerous misses looked even more costly later when the visitors scored in what was the last kick of the game to end Benab four-game winning streak.

In other games in the zone, Namoro Academy made sure they close the gap to one point by walloping Excel FC by 4-2.

Amansie FC also returned on winning ways after beating Kaaseman FC with a pulsating 4-3 scoreline.

Bafag Rainbows also hammered Thurnderbolt FC 4-0 on the day.

Benab's destiny is very much in their own hands as they lead the table with 23 points from nine games with second place Namoro just behind them with 22.
