Ashanti Regional Second Division side Kumawuman United FC have scheduled July 11, 2023 as their return date from the long break.
The 'Barima Mma' outfit didn't enjoy the best of seasons, having failed to match up to their own level after failing to qualify the Middle League in the just ended season.
They appallingly finished 7th on the league log this time around with just 14 points from 16 matches.
In the 2021/22 season, Kumawuman United emerged as winners of zone 6 and made a huge statement in the Middle League but unfortunately suffered a narrow defeat against Pro Players Academy in their Last group match in the middle league.
With this, the team will be regrouping very soon at the Central Police Park to commence preseason as they look to patch up all cracks and establish a redoubtable side for the 2023/24 season
They hold the highest record in the MTN FA CUP tournament for the Ashanti Regional second division clubs who have participated so far in the main event and are the only side among to reach round 16 of which they lost 4-2 against Premier League Side Bechem United on March 27, 2022.
