Board Member of Ashantigold SC, Nana Achiken has reveal that the Board of Directors of the club will be meeting over the weekend to discuss issues pertaining to their demotion.
Ashantigold SC have been demoted to Division Two by the Ghana Football Association for involving in Match Fixing and Betting in their last game of the 2020/21 season against Inter Allies at the Len Clay Stadium.
The club was found guilty of offense by the Disciplinary Committee of the FA and further lost their appeal at the Appeals Committee.
Ashantigold SC will be serving at the Division Two of the RFA next season but are planning to extend their fight of staying in the Ghana Premier League at the Court of Arbitration for Sports, CAS.
The decision will be taken at a meeting of the Board of Directors of the club to know their next line of action.
