The Ghana League Clubs Association, GHALCA have concluded on organization a Top 6 Tournament before the start of the season.
After meeting with executives of the association, it has concluded on the six clubs who finished top on the league table battling it out for glory.
The tournament has taken several form of recent late going through a lot of transformation from Top 4 to Top 8 and after myriad consultations, this year's edition will be organized for Top 6 clubs.
Asante Kotoko finished the 2021/22 season as champions to annex their 26th championship with Medeama SC coming a distance second.
Bechem United and Karela United completed the Top 4 positions and will be joined by the Accra giants, Hearts of Oak and Great Olympics for the Tournament.
Both Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak will be ready for this tournament in preparation for their Africa Club Competitions in the CAF Champions League and Confederations Cup respectively.
