Former Black Satellites striker, Ebenezer Assifuah, admits that Ghana didn't benefit from his goalscoring talent and insists that he would have scored more if he was given enough opportunities.

Ghana have qualified for the world cup in Qatar and will face Uruguay, South Korea and Portugal in the group stage.

Assifuah, 29, was a revelation at Under-20 world cup in Turkey in 2013, as he won the golden boot with six goals to propel the Black Satellites to a third place finish.

He earned his debut call-up to the Black Stars in 2016 and was part of the AFCON 2017 squad but failed to glitter.

He netted five times in twenty-five matches for Pau in the Ligue 2 last season.

The former Le Havre forward says he didn't get enough opportunities at the Black Stars that's why Ghana didn't profit from his goalscoring abilities.

"I couldn't get enough playing time at Black stars level that's why Ghanaians couldn't benefit my goal gift," he told Original TV.

“I was with the black stars during coach avram grant time, but I couldn't get enough playing time to fit into the team to follow the footsteps of Asamoah Gyan.

"I could have scored more goals for Ghana Black stars if I get more playing time with the black stars,” he insisted.
