Medeama SC are eyeing a double this season and are already gearing up for their crucial MTN FA Cup semi-final encounter against Dreams FC this weekend.
Currently on top of the league, the Mauve and Yellows are in contention for the two silverwares and will definitely be hoping to cruise into final to make their double ambitions happen.
Head coach Ibrahim Tanko has expressed confidence in his side’s preparation, emphasizing the importance of the tie as they push for silverware this season.
“This is a different competition, the MTN FA Cup. As you said, we are playing a semi-final. We want to reach the final,” he told the club’s media.
“We are preparing very well so that we will achieve our aim,” he added.
Medeama will be hoping to carry their momentum into the clash as they aim to book a place in the final and keep their FA Cup ambitions alive.
The decisive fixture is scheduled for Saturday, April 18, at the Swedru Stadium, with kickoff set for 15:00 GMT and a place in the final at stake.
