Bechem United Chief Executive Officer, Lord Zico, admits Augustine Okrah rejected Black Stars call-up without giving any tangible reason.

Augustine Okrah was called-up for Black Stars AFCON Qualifiers and Four Nations Tournament squad before been sent home after the qualifiers.

The attacker was subsequently recalled into the squad to travel to Japan, but he rejected the invite.

Augustine Okrah currently has fourteen goals in the Ghana Premier league.

Lord Zico reveals that Augustine Okrah didn't give any reason for Black stars rejection.

"He did not give any tangible reason why he can't honor the Black Stars invitation," he revealed to Akoma FM.

"I had a call from the FA to communicate to him to report to camp, I informed him (Okrah) after our match against Aduana to report.

"I went to his place and realized that he was still around, I asked and all he said there is no way he's going to honour the invitation," he said.

"He is the best person to explain why he failed to honor the invitation," he concluded.

Black Stars will play in a four nations tournament in Japan this month.
