Head coach Otto Addo discusses the complexities of handing in-form Ghana defender Baba Abdul Rahman a Black Stars call-up.
According to the head coach, Rahman had decided to stay off matters relating to the senior national team due to reasons best known to the player.
"Baba Rahman’s situation remains unchanged. He is still unavailable for selection due to personal reasons", he said.
Rahman turned down a Black Stars call-up for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Mali and the Central African Republic in June and won't be available for the Black Stars once again.
Ghana will face Angola and Niger in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers on the 5th and 9th of September respectively.
