Week seventeen (17) of the Ghana Premier League kick off at the Berekum Golden City Park to a tumultuous and rapturous encounter staged between two struggling sides in the league from a point of view of their clouts and performance.

Berekum Chelsea welcomes home Tema Inter Allies to a promising round of game that will set out the defined pattern to which these two teams thread on and will thread on beyond this years 16-weeks-old league.

For a team looking forward to get back to African Club Competitions in earnest, Chelsea has had a poor season after more than half of league games honored in the country though Sadick Adams is still in their folds.

It is with a bad trek from Chelsea losing three games consecutively as a former champion which will urge them on to come out with a better performance to get the result for their teeming fans on Wednesday in Berekum with the nostalgia of participating in the continental game.

This encounter will give much to be desired with in apropos to what ensued in the first round of this game at the Tema park where the Blues suffered a hammering 3-1 defeat to Inter Allies with Frederick Boateng banging in a brace.

Coming from a victory in their last weekend match against Hasaacas by Frederick Boateng's lone goal in Tema, Inter Allies will be on high moods to continue with that fine form of grabbing a maximum seven (7) points out of a possible nine (9) in their last three games in their last two games of the first round and in match week sixteen (16).

The temerity to vent all spleen on a dented spirit of a Chelsea side will be intact to give Inter Allies a good position on the log before the start of subsequent league matches as they are currently on the eleventh (11) position with only eighteen (18) points.

It will be an unexpected blow on the part of Chelsea from Inter Allies should they succumb again to the away side after giving it all for Wa All stars to pick the points available in their last home game which will further push them down the pecking order on the league log, thereby further deteriorating their ambitions of getting back to Africa any time soon.

Berekum Chelsea will look back at the league table and strategize well to set off a very good game plan to ensure victory on their part so as to add on to their paltry twenty (20) league points after sixteen (16) round of matches.
