The Black Galaxies will slug-it-out with Egyptian heavyweights Al Ahly in a friendly encounter in Cairo on Saturday, December 31, 2022.
The match will give coach Annor Walker the platform to thoroughly assess his players for the last time against the Red Devils of Africa.
The Black Galaxies are currently pitching camp in Egypt as they round up their preparation for next month’s African Nations Championship (CHAN) which has been slated to come off in Algeria from January 13 to February 4, 2023.
Annor Walker and his men beat the Egyptian national Under-20 side 2-0 on Tuesday, courtesy goals from Kofi Kordzi and Slyvester Simba.
Ghana are in Group C and will face Morocco, Sudan and Madagascar in the CHAN tournament. All four teams will play their matches at the stadium Chahid Hamlaoui of Constantine.
