Hearts of Oak youngster, Suraj Seidu has been recalled to join the Black Galaxies in Egypt as they continue with serious preparations towards the 2022 African Nations Championship.
The 21 year old has been with the home-based national team from day one and played a major role in the qualifiers, scoring the second against Nigeria to seal the first leg win in Cape Coast.
However, he was astonishingly excluded from the final list that left for Egypt alongside teammate Caleb Amankwah but fresh reports this morning indicate the mercurial midfielder has been recalled to join the final squad.
Coach Annor Walker’s side are currently in Cairo, to fine-tune their preparations for the tournament.
They played the U20 of Egypt in a behind-closed-doors game at the Cairo International stadium on Tuesday.
The Black Galaxies won the game 2-0, courtesy goals from Kofi Kordzi and Slyvester Simba in the first and second half respectively.
The team is now billed to test themselves against the most successful football club in Egypt and one of the best in Africa, Al Ahly in another behind-closed-doors encounter on Saturday
