The male national U23 team have touched down in Ghana after holding the Algerian U23 team to a one-all draw in the first leg tie of the 2023 Africa U23 Cup of Nations qualifiers on Friday night.

The Black Meteors arrived at the Kotoka International Airport (KIA) on Saturday morning after a pulsating 1-1 draw with the North African country at the Stade du 19 Mai 1956 in Annaba.

The winner of the tie will secure a ticket to the 2023 Africa U23 Cup of Nations in Morocco which serves as the qualifiers for African nations for the Olympics Games in 2024.
