The Ghana U-23 national team will resume camping today, October 12, at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence in Prampram as they prepare for next month’s CAF U-23 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Libya.
Head coach Desmond Ofei is expected to welcome 32 players to camp as the team begins preparations for the two-legged encounter, which will take place during the November international window.

The team recently took a break amid developments in Ghana football, particularly the Black Stars’ disappointing performances, which placed the Ghana Football Association under pressure.
The squad will be reduced as preparations continue, while six foreign-based players are expected to join the team ahead of the qualifiers.
Ghana will travel to Libya for the first leg before they return home to host the return encounter. Progress on aggregate will send the Black Meteors into the final qualifying round against either Equatorial Guinea U-23 or Niger U-23.
The three-round qualifying campaign will determine the seven teams that join hosts Egypt at the eight-team tournament.
Ghana will be hoping to secure qualification and end their absence from men’s Olympic football, having last featured at the 2004 Athens Games.
