The second highest women national team of Ghana, Black Princesses arrived in Costa Rica on the early hours of today ahead of the 2022 FIFA U-20 World Cup which is set to commence in just a week time.
The team left the shores of Ghana last week and journeyed to France where they engaged them in a preparatory friendly at the Complexe Sportif a Clairefontaire-en-Yvelines- a game they got thumped on by 4-0.
Coach Ben Fokuo and his girls furthered on with series of training sessions afterwards without engaging in any other game again as they looked to improve immensely from their last game.
The Black Princesses left France last Monday and have finally landed in Costa Rica and are set to continue with preparations for the much-anticipated competition which is due to commence on August 10, 2022.
Ghana is in Group D together with Netherland, United States of America and defending champions Japan
They will take on three time champions USA in their opening game on Thursday, August 11, 2022.
