Ghanaian international Grace Asantewaa has joined Mexican Liga MX side FC Juárez Feminel, the club confirmed on social media last Wednesday.
The 22 year old is joining after a fruitful negotiations with the details of the contract yet to be determined.
Club statement reads; "FC Juárez announces that player Grace Asantewaa will be part of the women's first team as reinforcement for the Apertura 2023 Tournament,"
"The midfielder, of Ghanaian nationality, is 22 years old and has played for her country's national team. Additionally, she was part of Real Betis in the Spanish first division,"
"Welcome, Grace! We trust that with your experience and our determination, we will continue making history."
The workaholic midfielder is joining from Spanish side Real Betis Femenino where she enjoyed an incredible two-year spell which ended couple of days ago.
Just recently, she enjoyed full time throttles in the Black Queens humiliating 7-0 on aggregate win over Guinea over two legs to cruise into the next round of the 2024 Olympic Games qualifiers.
She will join her teammates very soon to begin preparations towards the 2023 Liga MX Apertura season which commences on August 12, 2023.
