Benab FC forward, Prince Balladom was recently part of the Black Satellites squad at the just-ended WAFU U-20 Championship and on his return, has donated assorted drinks and a token to his teammates for their support.
The teen- sensation made coach Desmond Ofei's final squad after impressing in series of training sessions in Prampram and made two appearances in the competition.
The Satellites were really outstanding at the competition having finished as winners of Group A and also serged on to defeat Cote D'Ivoire in the semi final.
Unfortunately, they lost the trophy to sworn rivals Nigeria having lost 2-1 in the final but have most importantly qualified to the next CAF U-20 Cup of Nations.
Prince, on Wednesday morning at the Atonsu Astro Turf, donated assorted drinks of different flavours to his teammates including a token after training- a tradition the club has been enjoying anytime their player gets a national team invitation.
The items were received on behalf of the club by CEO Mr. Nuhu Sakibu who thanked the player for his kind gesture and added they are very proud of his hard work.
Prince Balladom in his first game of the season, came off the bench to score in their 5-2 win over Jonnboe FC.
He will hope for a starting berth against Lake City this weekend in zone 7 of the ongoing Ashanti Regional Division Two Championship.
