Black Satellites of Ghana have left the shores of Ghana earlier today en route to France for the 2022 Maurice Revello tournament which is set to begin this weekend.
Initially, the competition was famously known to be the Toulon Cup but has been changed to Maurice Revello and this will be the 48th edition.
Coach Karim Zito and his charges after a disappointing performance in the just ended WAFU, having failed to defend their trophy, will hope to redeem themselves with this championship.
The Ghana male under 20 side failed to pick up a point in the group stages after losing to Burkina Faso and the Flying Eagles of Nigeria- who were the eventual conquerors of the competition.
The 2009 world champions have been drawn in Group B of the Maurice Revello tournament together with Mexico, Indonesia and Venezuela.
The Black Satellites will be facing Mexico on Monday, 30th May, 2022 at the Stade de Lattre-de-Tassigne.
