The Ghana U-20 men national team will pitch camp today, April 8, in the capital ahead of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations after a short break.

The team was in Morocco last month for a training tour where they spent some few years hoping for a different experience for the tournament which was slated Cote D'Ivoire but later changed to Egypt.

The Black Satellites during their stay in Morocco, suffered back to back loses to the Young Atlas Lions and subsequently had their final international friendly game against Sierra Leone postponed but definitely gained certain experience which will definitely help them triumph in much-anticipated competition.

After a short break, coach Desmond Offei has named his final 20-man squad for the main task and will started residential camping today at the Erata hotel in the capital, Accra with few weeks to the tournament.

The technical team within this period will take the team through intensive training sessions and also engage them in high profile friendlies to get them adequately prepared and ready.

Ghana qualified to the U-20 AFCON after finishing as runners up in the last WAFU Championship and have been in paired in Group A alongside initial hosts Cote D'Ivoire, DR Congo and Tanzania. 

The 2025 TotalEnergies U-20 Africa Cup of Nations will now be held in Egypt, from April 26 to May 18, 2025.
