Ghana's U-15 national team coach, Yaw Preko says he is fulfilled after clinching the 2025 Mondialito Promise tournament in Israel.

The Black Comets ended the tournament in style as they went ahead to win the trophy following their 4-1 big victory over Maccabi Tel Aviv in the final.

Ghana recorded two impressive wins - scooping wins over Maccabi Petah Tikva and Hapoel Tel Aviv in the group stage. The Black Comets then went ahead to clash with Maccabi Tel Aviv again which was a repeat of the tourney's opener.

Robinho Gavi, James Ofori, Ebenezer Adjei and Abdulai Aziz Issah were all on the scoresheet for the Black Comets with Maccabi getting a consolation goal in the final minute of the game.

Speaking to Sporty FM, Preko said; "I’m a developer, and I’ve been through these stages as a player. To see the excitement on the faces of the boys took me back to the '80s, when we were their age. It’s fulfilling for me as a manager. It shows that I’m doing something positive. We just need to keep working hard, and when the opportunity arises again, we have to make sure we deliver.”

“The energy of the boys from other teams was different from ours. Their counter-pressing and intensity stood out. We focus on individual technique and teamwork, but we learned a lot from their fighting spirit."
