The victorious Ghanaian U-15 national team has returned home after clinching the 2025 Mondialito tournament with a dominant 4-1 victory over Maccabi Tel Aviv in the final.

Upon their arrival, the team was warmly welcomed by Samuel Aboabire, Chairman of the Greater Accra Regional Football Association and Executive Council Member; Joe Abu Salam, Vice Chairman of the Juvenile (COLTS) Committee; and Michael Fiaduse, a member of the Juvenile (COLTS) Committee.

Ghana’s journey to the title began with an impressive 4-1 win over Maccabi Tel Aviv's U-15 team, followed by a resounding 8-0 triumph over Maccabi Bnei Eilat. The team then faced Maccabi Petah Tikva and Hapoel Tel Aviv on Saturday, April 5, 2025, aiming for the trophy.

After two strong victories on Day One, the U-15 team continued their momentum on Day Two, starting with a 2-0 win over Maccabi Petah Tikva and a commanding 4-0 victory over Hapoel Tel Aviv, securing their spot in the final.

In a rematch of their opening game, Coach Yaw Preko's side triumphed once again over Maccabi Tel Aviv, winning 4-1 to seal the title.

The Ghana Football Association has committed to supporting the team's development by organizing further matches to aid their transition to the U-16 and U-17 teams, also known as the Black Starlets.
