Mas'Ud Didi Dramani, the assistant coach of the Ghanaian national team, the Black Stars, has been appointed as the new head coach of Ghana's Black Meteors team, according to Angel FM sports journalist, Saddick Adams.

The official announcement from the football association is expected soon, following the departure of former coach Annor Walker.

Dramani, who previously served as the head coach of the Ghana National under 17 team, successfully guided the team to qualify for the FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup in Azerbaijan and achieved a bronze medal.

He also worked as an assistant coach alongside Otto Addo during the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, where Ghana finished at the bottom of their group.

Pending the official announcement, the Ghana Football Association has offered Dramani a two-year contract as the new head coach of the local senior national team.

The decision to make these changes comes after Annor Walker's unsuccessful campaign at the 2023 Africa Nations Championship in Algeria, prompting the Ghana Football Association to take swift action.
