Reports have emerged of an alleged theft incident at the camp of the Black Stars in Vienna ahead of their international friendly against Austria.
According to Accra-based Sporty FM, cash and valuables worth up to $20,000 are believed to have been stolen, although details surrounding the incident remain unclear.
Kickgh also understands that the incident involved only the room of a single player, with no other members of the squad affected, while the identity of the player remains undisclosed.
The Ghana Football Association is yet to issue an official statement on the matter as the team continues its preparations for the highly anticipated friendly.
The Black Stars have been in Vienna since Monday and have already held training sessions, with the squad said to be fully focused and ready despite the development.
Austria will take on Ghana today, March 27, at the Ernst Happel Stadium at 17:00GMT (5:00pm)
