The Ghana senior men national team have officially punched their ticket to the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers and have made donations to the Osu Orphanage as part of their way of showing appreciation to the country for their unending support throughout the campaign.

This will be the fifth time the Black Stars will be playing at the Mundial having already made previous four appearances at the big stage (2006, 2010, 2014 & 2022).

The four-time African champions finished as winners of Group I with 26 points in the qualifiers; culminated from eight wins, a draw and a defeat from ten matches.

Otto Addo’s men climaxed the qualifiers with a slim 1-0 win and a perfect revenge against Comoros in their final game at the Ohene Gyan Stadium last Sunday evening.

The team however, went to donate an undisclosed amount of money to the Osu Orphanage and the technical team led by Otto Addo made the presentation and spent some quality time with the kids.

The players were unable to attend the beautiful moment as they had fly back to their various clubs as quick as possible after the break to prepare for their league matches coming up this weekend.

Ghana will have to wait until December 5, to determine their group and opponents for the next World Cup and will be in pot five of the upcoming draw.

The Black Stars will regroup again next month to take on Asian giants Japan and South Korea in two highly-rated friendly matches to wrap up what was a great unbeaten year in competitive matches with five wins and draw from six games.
