Black Stars head coach Otto Addo has announced his 26-man squad for the upcoming 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Angola and Niger early next month.

The senior men national last regrouped in June when they recorded two consecutive wins over Mali and Central African Republic in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

The players are expected to arrive by the end or early stages of next week to commence the journey towards the next AFCON which is expected to be accomplished in the next three international windows.

Coach Otto Addo's squad didn't have any huge surprises with the core of the squad like Thomas Partey, Kudus Mohammed, Jordan Ayew, Lawrence Ati-Zigi, Abdul Fatawu Issahaku, all maintained.

Inaki Williams and Majeed Ashimeru returns having missed out in the last games whiles Asante Kotoko goalie Frederick Asare stays as the only home-based player in the list.

Captain Andre Ayew could also miss out again as he is still yet to find a new club.

The Black Stars will kickstart their 2025 AFCON qualifiers against Angola on Thursday, September 5 at the Baba Yara Stadium, before they face Niger in four days time.
