The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has disqualified renowned football administrator George Afriyie from contesting in the upcoming Presidential elections.
Afriyie who was a major opposition to the incumbent, Kurt Okraku has been shockingly disqualified from the 2023 Ghana Football Association elections.
According to a statement from the GFA election committee, George Afriyie has been disqualified for breaching the article 13(2)(j) of the Ghana Football Association Statues and for failing to provide the required number of GFA members to support his candidature.
