The English-born Ghanaian goalkeeper was forced to sit out of Black Stars training in Kumasi with a fresh injury.

Ghana shot-stopper Jojo Wollacot sustained injured when a goalpost toppled over and crashed him down during Black Stars training session at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

The 26-year-old, who recently recovered from a finger injury which ruled him out of the 2022 FIFA World Cup, was helped to his feet by medical team of the Black Stars before limping off with a grimace on his face.
 
Wollacott is expected to undergo a scan to determine the severity of injury ahead of the double-header against Angola.
 
The Black Stars are scheduled to play against Angola in the first leg at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Thursday, March 23 with the reverse fixture set for Luanda on March 27.
 
Ghana are joint top of the Group E table with 4 points from two games following a 3-0 win over Madagascar and a 1-1 draw with Central African Republic in June last year
