Reigning Ghana Premier League champions Medeama SC have been handed a tough draw in the 2023/24 CAF Champions League group stages at the just ended draw held by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) in Johannesburg, South Africa.
The Yellow and Mauves lads, who are playing the competition for the first time, have been paired alongside the most successful club in the CAF Champions League — Al Ahly of Egypt — in Group D.
Medeama SC also have Tanzanian giants Young Africans SC and CR Belouizdad of Algeria in the group.
The group stage matches of the 2023/24 CAF Champions League will commence from November 2023 to March 2024.
