Ghanaian giants Asante Kotoko have safely touched down in Lagos with 20 players ahead of their CAF Confederation Cup second leg of the first qualifying round against Kwara United on Sunday, September 28.
The first leg ended 4-3 in favour of Asante Kotoko last week at the Ohene Gyan stadium in a very fascinating encounter - leaving a very open tie heading into the second leg.
The Porcupine Warriors has since been working extensively towards the game. Having left the shores of the country this morning, the team touched down at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport in Lagos to continue with their preparations.
All twenty-three (23) players are expected to hold a mandatory training session at the match venue tomorrow in order to familiarize with the weather and pitch to have themselves well-prepared for the game.
The game is slated for 15:00GMT (3:00pm) at the MKO Stadium.
