Black Stars technical advisor, Chris Hughton, says his role is to advise the technical team of the Ghanaian national team.
Otto Addo led Ghana to qualify for the world cup ahead of Nigeria, with Chris Hughton serving as the technical advisor, on interim basis.
After the qualification, the Ghana Football Association have confirmed their appointment till the end of the world cup later this year.
George Boateng and Mas-ud Didi Dramani will assist Otto Addo as the assistants.
Chris Hughton says he's confident he can handle the role by advising the technical team.
"He is responsible for picking the team and the tactics," he told the Sun.
"My role is to be a sounding board, to give whatever advice I can to support him and the rest of the coaching team as best I can.
“Because of my experience, I’m confident that I can handle that," he added.
