Black Stars technical advisor, Chris Hughton, insists that Broussia Dortmund trainer Otto Addo is a good coach.
Otto Addo, 47, led Ghana to qualify ahead of Nigeria to the world cup in March.
Chris Hughton, Mas-Ud Didi Dramani and George Boateng assisted the Borussia Dortmund trainer in the play-off on interim basis.
Predictably, the Ghana Football Association (GFA) has confirmed Otto as the head coach, Chris as technical advisor, and both Dramani and Boateng as assistants ahead of the global showpiece.
Ghana have been drawn with Uruguay, South Korea Korea and Portugal at the world cup finals in Qatar.
Chris Hughton says Otto Addo has pedigree and admits that he only advises the technical team.
"One thing we’re very clear on is that he [Otto Addo] is the head coach," he told the Sun.
“He is someone I was aware of as a player and he has a good pedigree.
“Otto is also a very good coach, he would not be employed by Borussia Dortmund if he was not."
