Ghana head coach Chris Hughton has announced a strong starting line up for the Black Stars crucial 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier against Central African Republic this afternoon.
The four-time African champions are hosting the Wild Beasts of Central African Republic in the last round of the 2023 AFCON Qualifier at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
Ghana needs a win or draw to secure qualification to the next edition of the Africa Cup of Nations to be staged in Ivory Coast from January to February 2024.
The kickoff time for the match is 16:00 GMT (4:00 PM)
Swiss-based goalkeeper Lawrence Ati-Zigi has been handed the nod to be in the post for the team this afternoon with Alidu Seidu, Alexander Djiku, Joseph Aidoo and Baba Rahman as the back line.
West Ham United new signing Kudus Mohammed has been handed starting berth with Elisha Owusu and Salis Abdul Samed in the middle against Central African Republic.
Athletic Bilbao centre-forward Inaki Williams will be leading the upfront with Osman Bukari and Jordan Ayew on the flanks.
