Reports indicate that Alhaji Akambi, a Board Member of Hearts of Oak, has been disqualified from running for an Executive Council position in the upcoming Ghana Football Association elections.
Unfortunately, Alhaji Akambi did not successfully pass the vetting process required to compete for the Executive Council seat representing Premier League clubs.
Similar to George Afriyie, Alhaji Akambi has been granted a window of up to three working days to appeal the decision made by the vetting committee.
