lack Stars head coach Chris Hughton is expected to announce his squad for the game against Central African Republic in the final fixture of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers billed for early next month.

The game against the Wild Beasts is an all important fixture that, Ghana need to win or better still avoid a defeat in some dynamics before they could qualify for the next AFCON.

The Black Stars last game in the qualifiers was a goalless draw against Madagascar in Antananarivo and will need to win on home soil this time to redeem themselves.

The four time African champions despite still leading Group E into the last round of matches, haven't been really convincing and impressive having won two matches and drawn three so far after five matches.

With few days to the last game, coach Chris Hughton per reports, will announce his squad by the end of the week with no any omissions expected as most of the players are most likely to be retained in the list.

Skipper Andre Ayew, Thomas Partey, Jordan Ayew, Daniel Amartey, Alexander Djiku and Kudus Mohammed- who just joined Premier League side West Ham United are all expected to make the cut.

Also, Baba Rahman, Inaki Williams, Antoine Semenyo are all expected to return after missing the last game due to injuries.

The game against Central African Republic is scheduled for September 7, 2023 at the Baba Yara Stadium.
