Black Galaxies head coach, Annor Walker has expressed total excitement following their resounding victory over Benin last Sunday in the first leg of the 2022 CHAN Qualifiers

The home-based national team marmalized the Squirrels by an emphatic 3-0 at the Cape Coast Stadium over the weekend to take a giant step onto the next stage of the qualifiers.

It was all Hearts of Oak affair as they had their three players netting all the goals with Daniel Afriyie Barnieh opening the scoring account, coupled with the other two from Mohammed Alhassan and skipper Gladson Awako.
 
Speaking in the post-match presser, the experience gaffer was very elated for the win and added he anticipated four goals to nothing but they could score only three and is very satisfied with that.
 
“[I am] more than a happy man today because it’s a match that I was determined [to win] and got myself ready to win. I wanted four goals but God gave me three and I have accepted it,” he said
 
The Black Galaxies will now prepare for the return fixture on Saturday, July 30, 2022 in Cotonou.
