Black Galaxies gaffer, Annor Walker says his players showed Qatar too much respect in their friendly game.
Qatar defeated the Black Galaxies by 2:1 in an international friendly played in Austria on Tuesday evening
Qatar scored twice in the first half, before Daniel Afriyie Barnieh reduced the deficit for Ghana in the final half.
The Black Galaxies are preparing to face rivals Nigeria in the final CHAN qualifiers play-off.
The first leg in Ghana will be on 28th August, and the return leg on 3rd September in Nigeria.
Ghana have missed out in the last three consecutive CHAN tournaments in 2016, 2018 and 2020.
Annor Walker believes that his players gave Qatar a lot of respect in their 2:1 defeat in Austria.
"My players showed too much respect to Qatar because they thought that was their senior side and they are also hosting the World Cup, so they gave them respect," he told GTV Sports+.
