Experienced Ghanaian coach, JE Sarpong has asked for support for head coach of Black Stars Otto Addo, having announced his squad for the looming 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers against Angola.
The veteran gaffer charged Ghanaians to offer their unflinching support to the team as they prepare for their crucial qualification games.
"The coach is in charge of the team he has gone round and selected his players for his team so officially I can't say anything about the selection. Because he knows what is good for the country so he has given his team, let's just back him and let us see what happens," Sarpong told Peace FM.
The Black Stars will hold their first training session on Monday, 2nd September, before moving camp to Kumasi where training will continue before the match against Angola on Thursday, September 5 at 4:00pm.
Afterwards, the team who has been housed in Group F with Angola, Sudan, and Niger will leave the shores of Ghana to face Niger on September 9th.
