Asante Kotoko's second leg game in the CAF Champions League against RC Kadiogo will be played at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Sunday, 18th September, 2022.
The Ghanaian Champions will be hosting the Burkinabe' side in Kumasi after the venue was rejected by the Confederations of Africa Football (CAF) for lack of major facilities required by CAF/FIFA.
After maintenance work and upgrade of the facility by the National Sport's Authority (NSA), CAF has given the venue the greenlight to host games organized by the confederation and FIFA.
The stadium, which has served Asante Kotoko SC as its home grounds for years, will host the second leg encounter against Rail Club de Kadiogo in the first Preliminary Rounds games in the CAF Champions League.
Asante Kotoko will travel to Yamousoukro, Cote D'Ivoire to face it off in the first leg as CAF has rejected the home grounds of the Burkinabe' side which is not suitable for international games.
The first leg is on Friday, 9th September, 2022 at Stade de Yamousoukro in Cote D'Ivoire.
Asante Kotoko will move to Ghana's neighbouring country for the encounter on Wednesday, 7th September, 2022 by land.
